A cold, quiet young woman, Tohya Kidzuki has lived in Sumaru City all her life, and knows her way around almost deceptively well--not that she'll let on that much to everyone. On paper, she's something of a success story; after a turn for the worse in her life back edging into high school, in her third year she turned matters around as one of the first members of SEBEC's KNOWS youth outreach program, and now she's a student in good standing at Sumaru University. In reality, she left that organization after a lengthy decision, and now works as one of the members of the city's 'secret police'--the Shinsengumi, devoted to protecting Sumaru from threats inside and out. What her own dreams are for the future, she's kept concealed, but to a select few she'll share some of her inner thoughts. Even a stranger might hear her talk about what she sees as the way to a 'better world', though--a world that can only be achieved one day at a time.

• Weapon: Bare Hand - Exactly what it sounds like.
• Body: Dress Shirt - A long-sleeved, collared purple shirt.
• Feet: Heeled Boots - A nice pair of black, lace-up boots with a high heel.
• Accessory: Thin Dagger - A small, hand-crafted dagger made by Thora Kobayashi, worked after the style of Juliet's from Romeo and Juliet. Has a heart worked into the grip.

• Icy Stare: "..." - Tohya stares the demon down like the worthless jerk it is. May provoke sad, angry, or frightened reactions. (Interest is only appropriate if the demon is /weird/!!)
• Flowers: "Here--a yellow tulip. Maybe you'll understand its meaning..." - Tohya offers the demon a flower, and explains (or not) what its significance is. May provoke interested or happy reactions.
• Scold: "Idiot. You're going to get hurt running around like that!" - Tohya advises (not very gently) the demon on better behavior for good health and general well-being. May provoke angry or happy reactions.
• Cooking Lesson: "What someone eats says a lot about who they are, human or demon. I like a little spice in my food..." - Tohya offers a few tips and ideas about good ways to cook! May provoke interested or frightened reactions (if the demon assumes she's going to eat them).

• Tohya has been playing games of strategy since before she started school.
• Tohya's name is written with the characters for 'winter night' and 'yellow moon'.
• Tohya has cooked spiced chicken(?) for the people in Fort Junes. Don't ask why there's a question mark. Just don't.
• Tohya's nearsighted, though she managed to avoid anyone noticing this for a long time by virtue of cheating with supernatural powers.
• Tohya seems to get asked for fashion advice somewhat more than she is comfortable with.

Tohya's Persona is Persephone, Iron Queen of the Underworld. The tales say that she was abducted by Hades while out picking flowers, and had to stay for part of every year, even after her mother sought to have her freed, because she'd eaten a few seeds.

Persephone's resonance is quiet, but brings the sensation of life, and the scent of flowers. It's somehow green, and may manifest as a sense of hope. Those especially sensitive to resonance will feel something under the surface: there's new growth, but it may be transient. Spring will eventually fade.

She's very noticeable to those who are skilled enough to detect the resonances of others. However, her strength of resonance goes both ways: Tohya's primary Persona power is detection. As such, she has a finely tuned 'sixth sense', noticing immediately the presence of all but very subtle Persona-users. She experiences this as a distinct 'feeling' of its own, bringing to mind location and a sort of an essential presence, rather than through any of her mundane senses. As a 'spotter', she can sense more than just other Personas, however: Shadows and even regular people are within her power to detect, but even stronger is her sense of direction. With Persephone's abilities, it is almost impossible for Tohya to lose her way, even in the darkest of places. In addition, she's honed her ability somewhat, and has unlocked a few extra powers, as a 'spotter'.

This means that she senses most Persona-users she meets as a matter of course, and she actually can't turn this power 'off'--though if she's too distracted, or there are too many things to sense at once, she'll miss things. Or people.

• 0 - The Fool
  • Tohru Adachi: A detective working as police liason to the KNOWS program. While originally she was ambivalent, a thieving incident in Inaba caused her to start thinking better of him. He seems like an alright person, and she might have to worry about his connections to the NWO at this point.
• I - The Magician
  • Yosuke Hanamura: They first met when he was being a super spy disguised as a man named 'Daigan' and snooping around the KNOWS complex. Since then, she's gotten to know him at least a little better. Her opinion varies; their time together in Fort Junes is a mark in his favor, but she doesn't always approve of the things he chooses to do. She tends to call him out when this is the case. Secretly, messing with him is one of her vices.
• II - The High Priestess
  • Yukiko Amagi: - A third-year at Yasogami High, and heir to the Amagi Inn. Tohya likes her, and has been inspired by meeting her to pay more attention to the local businesses and people of Inaba. They've become better friends since a trip on Yukiko's part to Sumaru, and Tohya hopes to keep in touch with her. There's something about her that Tohya likes quite a bit.
  • Maki Sonomura: A student at St. Hermelin High, and the best way to describe their relationship is that they are friends and that it is extremely complicated. It would really serve better to analyze Tohya's relationship with each of the Makis, rather than the composite, as it's like that. Generally positive, though--Tohya hopes to help Maki.
• III - The Empress
  • Hitomi Kidzuki: Tohya's mother. Information about her is a secret, except that she used to work at the Sky Museum in the Konan Ward of Sumaru.
• IV - The Emperor
  • Kyo Enda: Akatsuki's twin brother, dating Miwa. At first, she thought he just had a bad reputation and might be something of a womanizer. She quickly learned, while they were seniors together at Seven Sisters High, that this is only the tip of the iceberg. He is basically awful, and a huge risk to at least two people who are close to her. ...Three, counting herself.
  • Akatsuki Enda: A fellow student at Sumaru University, and probably Tohya's closest male friend. Their relationship started on a strange note--Tohya looking for information on Kyo--but has developed far since then. They have a complex history, and currently have to navigate a few things of their own, but Tohya helps to encourage Akatsuki to be the person she's sure he is, rather than the person he's afraid he might be. Also, she's shared her fondness for Shirashi with him.

• VI - The Lovers
• Tohya has no notable Lovers links. How mysterious.
• VII - The Chariot
• Tohya has no notable Chariot links. However, she sure has been nearly run down by a couple of them.
• VIII - Justice
  • Arisa Shiratori: A friend (and a second-year at St Hermelin High), met early on during Tohya's time in KNOWS--she ran into Arisa a number of times, frequently on matters that had to do with Kandori or his organization. She likes Arisa, and has attempted to be an 'older' figure for her when she's been able. They don't talk as much as they could, but she respects Arisa's commitments and is getting to know her much better--Arisa's helped her out a lot in the past, and Tohya tries to do the same for her. She also wants to encourage her cooking habits.
  • Anise Thompson: - REVERSED - A former comrade in KNOWS--former first because Anise left her squad, and second because Tohya left the organization. Tohya in fact does hold Anise's attempt to kill her against the other girl.

• Tohya's not the type to go bother the Hermits, and thus has no notable social links with them.
• X - The Wheel of Fortune
• Tohya must not have the best luck; she has no notable Fortune links.
• XII - The Hanged Man
• Tohya has no notable links of the Hanged Man arcana. So?

  • Eikichi Mishina: More forthcoming! He was part of possibly the best date ever.
• XIV - Temperance
  • Miwa Saitou: One of Tohya's closest friends and a fellow student at Sumaru University, though Tohya didn't speak with her much before an incident involving a burning tree in the courtyard back in high school. She's basically wonderful, but she's entirely too polite, and is almost certainly in big trouble with Kyo. Tohya was once a little bit distressed by how much Miwa seemed to want her to be more polite--but that has faded considerably, and now she likes to think that she and Miwa are fairly close. Tohya once promised to protect her, but Miwa has made a similar promise, and she's hoping to do her best to help respect that committment. She has trouble saying 'no' to her, and perhaps has more complicated feelings than she tends to let on--but she accepts the secrets she's seen of her, and has divulged a good few of them herself. Miwa's the one who pointed out that she needs glasses, and now, they're living together in the dorms. In fact, part of the reason she left KNOWS was Miwa's advice.
  • Naomi Suzuno: Tohya's best friend. They met almost by chance, Tohya agreeing to help show Naomi some of the ropes of matters supernatural during the Mikage-cho incident, and since then they've only grown closer. Naomi was her anchor for a long time while she was in KNOWS, though the two of them have recently left that organization, and together work as part of the Shinsengumi in Sumaru. She may have graduated Seven Sisters, but she doesn't plan to leave Naomi behind; she makes a point of keeping in regular contact with someone who she can share even her deepest concerns. Naomi is often on her mind.

• Tohya has no notable Devil links. This is likely to change.
• XVI - The Tower
  • Thora Kobayashi: Tohya has a very complicated relationship with Thora, that started perhaps on entirely the wrong foot. When they first met, Tohya didn't see much in her but that changed over time, and now, Tohya hopes to keep an eye on Thora even after she's unable to assist the Yasogami student's situation in the KNOWS program. Thora is someone she trusts, however--and with good reason.
  • Takahisa Kandori: CEO of SEBEC, and Tohya's former boss. At first, she was put off by him, but after getting to know him a little better, she came to largely trust and actually kind of like him, understanding his insomnia and appreciating his love of cooking. She thinks he's wise, if extremely dangerous, and though she's respected him for some time, she has a hard time reconciling their disagreements. He's been an important figure in her life, but since she's left KNOWS, she doesn't really know where they stand--and isn't sure she wants to find out.

• XVIII - The Moon
  • Akio Kidzuki: Tohya's father. He works as a salaryman for a large company in Sumaru. A great guy, but he'd lose his head if it weren't attached. More information is a secret.

  • Tatsuya Suou: A fellow student at Sumaru University, and the head of the Shinsengumi. Her opinion on him has changed quite a bit since they first met. She respects and trusts him, based on what she's seen, and is starting to think she might understand him at least a little. She plans to try to get to know him better, for a few reasons. In any case, he's someone who can be relied on, and someone she shares some interests with when it comes to what to /do/ with the power of Persona. 'No easy way'. She's seen little of his more troubling sides, however.
