Raj Kapur is an budding Bollywood star who has come to Japan to study their styles of film and acting techniques and has stayed because he finds the people and the culture fascinating and so different from his own. His agent recently sent him to Sumaru City to further his experience and he's loving it. He is simply a vibrant and outgoing individual who lets little keep him down and tries to spread his own personal brand of joy to others. Recently, he's heard the news about the strange things going about town and is curious enough to start poking his nose into places where it possibly may not belong.

• Minako Arisato - A high school student. A very vibrant young lady that Raj met during the week of repeating Mondays. She was part of his dancing group experiment and they hit it off immediately. She shares his general outlook on life and since then, they have become fast friends. She was also present at Raj's Awakening.

• Kiyomi Ninomae - A blind woman. Raj met her completely by accident while walking through a park one day but that one meeting has set the two of them on a path they cannot return from. She was with him when he got lost in Mikage-Cho and was subsequently part of his awakening.
  • Helen - Kiyomi's seeing eye dog. A very good and very brave puppy. Raj wants to get a special thing made made for her to recognize her bravery.
• Maki Sonomura - Arisa's best friend. A mysterious girl that Raj doesn't know much about but who has taken an interesting in him. She is supposedly Arisa's best friend and helped him when he got lost in Mikage-Cho. She seems to have two little sisters too. Very curious but a friendly sort!

• Shinjiro Aragaki - A delinquent. A very macho young man who must be a true hero! Raj seeks to emulate him.

• Ran Itoh - A college student. A cheerful young woman that he met eating ramen once. He met her again later at the SEES dorm. He likes her quite a bit!

• Arisa Shiratori - A little sister. While they are not related by blood in the slightest, Arisa is like the little sister Raj doesn't have. She's half Indian and he approached her thinking that she could help him navigate Lunarvale. She did but in Japanese. They've been close since and he regards her as a little sister. She was there during his Awakening but had tried to prevent it when she realized he had the potential.

• Maya Amano - A reporter. He doesn't know much about her yet, but he senses a kindred spirit in this one. There will undoubtedly be hijinks in the near future.
