Profile: Yoko is a young girl from the suburbs that attends an all-girl’s middle school in the city of Sumaru. She has something of a reputation for being quiet and spacey, and she never talks about her parents. Someone claims to have seen her swallowing pills in the lavatory, but nothing ever came of the rumor. A member of the Art Club, she won’t talk about what makes her create such vivid and sometimes disturbing paintings.

Katsuya Suou - "Is your cat a policeman too?" Yoko met a policeman one evening on the steps of the Sky Museum in Sumaru. He was very kind to her, if a bit formal. He gave her his phone number and told her to call if she got in trouble and needed help. She gave him a sketch of the strange cat-person that is his 'other self'.
