Profile: Shou Karasugamori isn't a high school drop-out. He never went to high school in the first place. Born and raised in Lunarvale, these days he works with a temp agency, mainly doing a lot of odd jobs across the Five City Region. Those who know him well call him difficult to get along with and even angry--and they're hardly wrong with those assessments. Shou seems to approach the world as if he has something to prove in his life, leaving him with few he can really call friends as a result of his abrasive personality. The increasingly disaffected young man has fallen in with what some might term a 'bad crowd' of late, much to his parent's chagrin. Perhaps there's some truth to there being a black sheep like that in every family...

  Beat-up Sneakers - Old and comfortable, just the way they're meant to be. May smell a little.
• Accessory
  Silver Earring - A simple and small silver hoop earring. It's supposed to create a tough appearance.

• Bluff: "Yeah, I'm a big name around here. I've got all kinds of guys just waiting to do what I want 'em to!"
• Mouth Off: "Oh, please, who do you think you're kidding? Like anyone really cares!"
• Taunt: "C'mon, get serious! I can fight better than that in my sleep!"
• Grudging Assist: "Fine! I give you a hand, but this better be worth it!"

Shou is pretty much the definition of average. Yeah, he's a little faster on his feet and a little more durable, and a little less magically inclined and lucky, but such slants, as they exist, aren't particularly great.

Special: Don't Underestimate Me! - Shou insists that he is more than capable of handling this particular combat situation, and psyches himself up. His physical attack power and accuracy rise.
