Since destroying the DVA System, events have conspired to turn the onmitsu away from everything that was. Though he remains as inscrutable, dark and deviant as ever, something has plainly changed about him. He has become sick. He has become listless, betrayed, and bitter. Now, Mikiya turns his near endless reserve of will towards everything itself. Towards anyone who will oppose him. With wretchedly bloody hands, he has resolved to be 'the strongest,' and so has begun on a slow spiral leading into oblivion.

I am Sengo Muramasa, the promise of blood, the promise of chaotic vengeance against the idolaters, liars and traitors, all.

Muramasa, the horrific name of a swordsmith whose legacy was said to have stained history with blood. A long-haired snake-eyed man clad in a fire-proof robe with the skull of an oni hanging around his neck, he was feared for his unusually keen craft. As he became more and more persecuted for his art, he lost what little sanity he had, forging some of the world's deadliest blades.

He is no god, he is but a man. Still, the swords Muramasa have forged are said to have a mind of their own, requiring blood to be spilt for every time they are drawn, even if the blood comes from its own wielder. Even now, many of his works have been abused and scorned, his signature erased from them as if it would quell the blade's bloodlust. It does not.

It is said that when you kill enough people, you cease to be a man and become a demon...

• NO RESONANCE: Many of Muramasa's blades have been lost to history for having no identity. Though the persona of Muramasa is constantly shrouded in insane, bitter, angry whispers, the heat of the forge and the taste of blood, it is almost impossible to sense it. The bearer of Muramasa, Mikiya Ryouhara, is exhibit to a particular ability that makes his presence near nonexistent, even to the trained eyes of Persona scanners and seekers.
• YOGARASUKYUU: The ability of Mikiya to imbue weapons he wields with the abilities of Persona. Using this ability with Muramasa, his weapon gains an insanely sharp edge, able to shear stone and steel with zero effort.
• JUST A GHOST: With an intense secrecy and fierce will for seclusion, Mikiya is well-trained in eluding pursuit and tracking, even when his pursuers claim supernatural abilities. He is near impossible to find, even by those who would call on him to serve them.

By pure nature, Mikiya is nigh-completely uncontrollable. He barely listens to requests and orders, can seldom be reasoned with, and doesn't by preference make a lot of friends or close personal connections. If Mikiya is summoned or elects to appear, it's usually because he is serving his own goals and drives in some manner.

However, he can be bargained with.

He is a creature of honor if nothing else at all, and will uphold his end of a deal for as long as he feels it is being respected. His word is his bond and the lengths to which he will go to respect these bargains are truly extraordinary. Generally an agreement supercedes any and all other arrangements or expectations one may have of him.

A 'bansei pact' with Mikiya is a natural extension of this. The bansei pact is Mikiya's term for a mutual cooperative formed between himself and several others without assuming superiority or inferiority between one another in any way. Generally it is one of the only ways to be absolutely safe from being run through by him at any time.

It is, however, a binding agreement, contingent on certain rules. Breaking the agreement is .. not advisable.
