• Jason R. Butler -- Sensei: Like it or not, Jason Butler has been stuck with Eien from the moment they met in Mikage-cho. They might be an unlikely team, but Jason's unconventional investigations were a perfect proving ground for Eien, and ultimately responsible for her recruitment into D4. Of her colleagues, he's the one she's most comfortable talking to, and their acquaintance benefits from the fact that they knew one another before they were formally co-workers.

• Ryotaro Dojima -- Kacho #1: A stern and busy man with a puppet fixation of some kind.

• Enoha Koinose -- Engrish A++: She and Eien helped to save the world recently, and there isn't really any better way to bond than throwing your life to the fates with someone else. Enoha seems difficult not to like.

• Hajime Shidou -- Naisu Guy: Poor Hajime just wants to spend more time at home with his daughter. It's adorable, and a little bit sad, and even though Eien thought she'd grown out of her babysitting days, it's hard to resist little Mayumi.

• Katsuya Suou -- Kacho #2: This guy is even more stern than Dojima, if that can be believed. He seems to lecture on reflex. That said, he also likes to bake and he's extremely fond of coffee, so he's probably alright.

• Tohya Kidzuki -- Someone Like Me: She's a telepath, too. Eien's never met another one, but this one endeared herself by willingly protecting Eien in Xibalba. Those are two things that won't quickly be forgotten. Besides, Tohya's been spotting for a cohesive group for far longer than Eien; it pays to know people with that kind of experience.

• Mai Namikawa -- Percussion Buddy: They both went to Gekkoukan, and they both went to music club, and they both play the drums. Theirs is a bond born of the love of hitting things with excellent rhythm. Not to be underestimated.

• Kaede Ikeda -- Mai's Friend: She insists that she owes Eien a favor, in spite of Eien's demurrals. It isn't like her to expect a return gesture for her aid, but who knows -- the day may come when she needs to cash in that chip.

• Tatsuya Sudou -- BAD TOUCH: Feels like burning alive in a horrible conflagration of agony, shame, and necrotic abnormality. F-minus-minus would not touch again.
