"It is indeed a precious gift to understand the forces that guide oneself..."

Description
The Hierophant shows the value of a shared belief system and the knowledge that comes with knowing one's place in society. The Hierophant is someone who provides the support of an established authority of education and guidance. This can be an enriching and fulfilling experience. However, The Hierophant can also be an overbearing, stifling force that precludes innovation and individual choice for the sake of conformity. It is up to the Hierophant to balance the need for unity with the need for individuality.
Persona Traits
Hierophant-aligned Personae are very focused on spellcasting. Elemental damage is prominent, but they have no single direct tendency. Dark spells are rare among Hierophants, but Light appears occasionally. This variety of spellcasting ability does, however, mean that they tend to have lesser access to physical attacks and support skills, as well as being physically weaker overall.
Sample Personae
- Omoikane, Shinto god of knowledge
- Flauros, a Duke of Hell who gives knowledge of past, present, and future
- Hokuto Seikun, a Taoist deity who governs birth and judgement at death
- Kohryu, the Yellow Dragon of Chinese Mythology and Holy Beast of the Center Direction
Example Persona Wielders
- Shinjiro Aragaki
- Kei Nanjou
- Metis
