* Akihiko Sanada - A Sempai met during her first year at Gekkoukan, Mai was told to seek him out for hand to hand training, and their first meeting was colored by her 'test' of his skills by throwing a punch at his jaw without warning. While he was quick to forgive, he also was willing to turn the other cheek and allow her to join his training routine, learning how to handle herself unarmed if necessary and a little about him. She had grown to like him but their primary source of interpersonal contact being one focused around training and Akihiko's lack of interest in her due to his 100% focus on said training prevented their relationship to grow into anything else. She has a bit of a crush on him.

| * Akihiko Sanada - A Sempai met during her first year at Gekkoukan, Mai was told to seek him out for hand to hand training, and their first meeting was colored by her 'test' of his skills by throwing a punch at his jaw without warning. − | * Akatsuki Enda - | + | * Akatsuki Enda - Jerk Twin - Older SEES member who Mai met while looking for her classmates who had gone on a mission. Was originally seen under a neutral light, seemed like a 'perfect student' type who also had charming looks and she expected him to have a bit of an ego as a result, yet she never quite found that expectation furfilled. Their relation had gotten cold after her actions at the New Years Tartarus expedition, but after talking they have mended a little. For all his cool appearance, she found someone who had difficulties emotionally to love and afraid of loss. His willingness to show and admit he's not perfect if reluctantly is actually appreciated and comforting, making the older boy easier to talk with and try to understand. Currently known to be dating Daiya Kimura. Mai admitted to having feelings for him via the influence of the Arcana Shadow, which led to an unpleasant talk and while she still values him, their relationship feels less comfortable. Has asked about some of the ugliness she hides, and was less than thrilled to actually receive exactly what he asked for. Their relationship turned bumpy as Mai lashed out at him for harm caused by Kyo Enda to her, and their friendship degenerated until nothing but pain and scorn seems to be left right now. She can't bring herself to hate him, but thinking of him is unpleasantly painful.

|
− | * Kyo Enda - Monster Twin - Sociopath who fought alongside Mai against Rena Kinukasa to rescue his brother, they never really talked or knew each other, as she had been warned he was unhinged and dangerous. He managed to surprise and ambush her pretending to be Akatsuki Enda, leaving her scarred, hurt and furious that those who knew he had been on a vengeful prowl had kept silent, becoming no better than accomplices to Kyo's rampage in her mind. Dangerous and currently turning his brother into a dead husk via his manipulations and threats from Mai's perspective. | + | * Kyo Enda - Monster Twin - Sociopath who fought alongside Mai against Rena Kinukasa to rescue his brother, they never really talked or knew each other, as she had been warned he was unhinged and dangerous. Dangerous and currently turning his brother into a dead husk via his manipulations and threats from Mai's perspective. Willingly accepted his Shadow inside the TV World, leading to one of the hardest battles she has ever waged. Currently in parts unknown after his defeat and taking by Rena Kinukasa. |

* Tohya Kidzuki - Pretty Queen - Person met in Mikage-cho East Side and seen again at the Suzuno Christmas Ball. Original impression was good, seemed like a smart and capable girl, but later learned that she had ties in Takahisa Kandori's KNOWS organisation. Only learned on New Years of her unexpectedly high rank within the organisation, and clashed twice following that. For all her vaunted and claimed intelligence, Mai finds she can be shortsighted and lacking, however her vision is biased by her jealousy. She sees how Tohya is loved and envies her for it to the point it colors her judgement but at the same time sees her protected like a helpless child. Her jealousy has proven to be fermenting into vitriol and their relations are tensed but their prolonged lack of contact has acted like a bit of a cold breeze on a hot ember in that regard, although that fire could be reanimated should unfortunate events occur. Considered for a time to be a complete hypocrite for using the very technology she claimed had to be destroyed as if it was only evil in other people's hands, and hiding it from some of her supposed teammates, recent conversations and the mending brought by time closed off the gap that separated the two, and Mai has grown to view the Sumaru girl as a decent person, even if they're not alike on many points they have grown to understand each other a little.

| * Tohya Kidzuki - Pretty Queen - Person met in Mikage-cho East Side and seen again at the Suzuno Christmas Ball. − | * Rena Kinukasa - Lovely Dragon - A shadow possessed girl that had kidnapped Akatsuki Enda before, her relationship with Mai is a bizarre type of love/hate. There is a disturbing if not outright bizarre feeling of understanding from the rich girl, as if her heart was able to understand just how Mai feels on an instinctive level. Their battles have generally have been a bloody mess, and yet the feeling of hate has always been shortlived and died down during the fight itself.

| + | * Rena Kinukasa - Lovely Dragon - A shadow possessed girl that had kidnapped Akatsuki Enda before, her relationship with Mai is a bizarre type of love/hate. There is a disturbing if not outright bizarre feeling of understanding from the rich girl, as if her heart was able to understand just how Mai feels on an instinctive level. Their battles have generally have been a bloody mess, and yet the feeling of hate has always been shortlived and died down during the fight itself. If anything she hopes she can get closure with her ex-boyfriend now - or devour him whole, either way is a good outcome.

|
* Blaise Cameron - Reckless Boy - 2nd year student of Gekkoukan, met first as his cloaked alter-ego. While originally deemed to be only useful as an information gathering tool and someone she enjoyed messing with, things took a turn for the strange as time went on. While not disliking the boy, she finds his lack of tactical cool and foolish recklessness annoying, and wonders why he so pursues a path Mai considers as far too costly and now that he got what he wanted, dreads if he too will find the cost was high. His attempt to woo her was met with rejection, and he has been seen with other girls playing what she views as the same game since. She had thus concluded that his feelings had been a hollow ploy to simply use her, and the blow did go past her emotional armor. The hatchet has been buried since as they decided mutual friendship is better than unresolved misunderstandings. Not really crossed since that meeting.

| * Blaise Cameron - Reckless Boy - 2nd year student of Gekkoukan, met first as his cloaked alter-ego. − | * Shinsuke Kusagawa | + | * Shinsuke Kusagawa - Ex-Padawan of Perfection - The top scorer at Gekkoukan High for their year, Shinsuke was for the longest time a target for Mai's dislike. He was seen as someone who tried too much to be good at everything, to be loved at everything, to care for everyone else and to be perfectly self-effacing for the sake of others. It made her almost sick to watch as she imagined deep down he loved all the praise and the feeling of superiority so she wanted as little to do with him as possible. The fact they had a common crush on the same guy was not a bonding point at all either.

After being thrown in the TV World, she has seen some cracks in that mask he wore, that the burden he had chosen was not one he loved so much, and she saw a more human side of him, a side with desires, weaknesses, and she grew not to like him as a best friend forever but at least accept him a little as a comrade and she can accept his empathy as not just making himself look like he cares for self-ego stroking. They still don't know each other much but she appreciates his company somewhat rather than avoid it, and found support in his presence when she was hurt by Akatsuki Enda's dismissal of all his friends who worried about him. |

* Aigis - Metal Heart - A robot with a soul. It was the only way to describe the existence she knew as Aigis. She held her promise of information when Mai would have been unsurprised she would not, she spoke honestly of matters what most would sooner keep secret. She also struck as more human than some people in the world. Has shown herself to care deeply for the people around her and act for their wellbeing, and has extended a hand in friendship in a way Mai never expected. Has become a good friend since, even if she has strange mannerisms at time. They work well together and on occasion Mai sleeps in Aigis' closet. They even have the same part-time job. Seemed mostly unharmed by the name subterfuge, believing that Mai is Mai no matter what name she goes under.

| * Aigis - Metal Heart - A robot with a soul. * Sayaka Takuma - Silent Blade - 2nd year student of Gekkoukan, met outside of school before the 2nd semester started. Viewed as a caring Sempai, she is almost what Mai would call a 'normal' person, even for a Persona-user. Her dedication to her family art of the Sword is viewed as commendable, even if it's apparent Takuma-sempai disliked some of the things related to her family traditions. Is slightly worried for her Sempai's wellbeing, as she seems to have control issues. The shadow born of this person currently terrifies a part of Mai, given how it made her feel weak and helpless. They did not meet since, and she holds mixed feelings about that.

| * Sayaka Takuma - Silent Blade - 2nd year student of Gekkoukan, met outside of school before the 2nd semester started. − | * Chie Satonaka | + | * Chie Satonaka - Shining Shoe - A martial artist/highschooler that Mai encountered on a few occasions on common causes, Mai holds neither positive or negative thoughts toward her. They ended up fighting for the same cause on more than one occasion - generally when Maki Sonomura was involved to some extent and was heavily involved in the matter of Pandora, but Chie's problems and battles to wage are too different and distant from Mai's usual involvement spheres for them to have much a rapport beyond battlefield camaraderie. |

− | * Yoh Yamagatani | + | * Yoh Yamagatani - Smiling Fist - An energetic boy originally of Lunarvale who was discovered to have the power, Mai's opinion of Yamagatani started generally negative, a foolish inexperienced reckless boy was not exactly someone she generally had deep discussions or traded information with, but even if they work on different levels she had grown to at least appreciate his honesty and willingness to lend his strength for many battles. Tried to be sympathetic to his hair plight. Is also somehow Thora Kobayashi's minion or underling too.

|
− | * Enoha Koinose | + | * Enoha Koinose - A bookstore owner/manager in Inaba, Mai encountered the older woman on a few occasions and still has no idea what to make of her. Is she a covert agent? A vigilante who works with detective Tohru Adachi on supernatural cases? Mai finds her naiveté annoying considering she is an adult, but otherwise feels no particular disdain or like.

|
− | * Jason R. Butler | + | * Jason R. Butler - Real American Hero - A private investigator who's a little on the reckless side, Mai holds little love for foreigners but has made a bit of an exception for a man who wished to help those the law could not. Gifted with a Persona, he is a valuable contact between her own vigilante activities and the more legal aspect of society, and she can't deny he is talented, even if he is also a bit hotblooded. He's also one of the few trying to keep normal humans out of Mikage-Cho or at least help with their extraction so they don't end up dead.

|
− | * Masahiko Irie | + | * Masahiko Irie - Prince of Thieves - A Yakuza by bloodline, Masahiko Irie is pretty much what Mai never expected of a boy born and raised in the criminal element. Where media showed them as thuggish and brutes, Irie was charming and honorable. Viewed as a man perhaps aware that there will always be criminals in the shadows and trying to run things in a benevolent orderly and fair fashion, she views him as a better choice than the alternative, the cartels and gangs controlled by the NWO. While they are not particularly close, she trusts his dislike of the NWO to make him a reliable ally - even if sometimes they suffer communication failures. |

While they did not have a chance to chat there and then, they later met at the Lucky 7 where Ran's unexpected kindness and cheerful attitude made Mai smile a little. While the two don't really know each other much, she is considered as someone nice. Rarely cross paths, assumed to be a reservist or retired SEES due to a lack of a will to fight or the strength to do so. Slight jealousy/envy felt toward Ran due to having seen what sort of man Shinjiro will look like in a few decades after meeting Andrei Solokov.

|

Guilt led to apology, and eventually they met again on nicer grounds. Someone Mai likes a little even if she barely knows Arisa. She is her first friend from Lunarvale. Her maturity, organisation and the way she dug tirelessly to uncover the secrets of Lunarvale showed Mai a different side of the otherwise slightly shy highschool friend. Often text-messaged, and one of the few people she is willing to confide to. Her whole talk about prince-ness however has Mai confused and baffled. Was affected by the Videogame Suicide Hypnotism problem, and has been made to suffer by an unknown false medical practician. Witnessed the events revolving around Mai's past in the Abyss of Time, but was more concerned about Mai' safety than about having been lied to about her true name. Cherished friend. Returned the favor by helping Arisa in the Abyss, but would have done so even if Arisa had not saved Mai first.

|

+ | * Michiru Fukase - Survivor of Inaba - A contact and combat comrade from the KDA originally, Mai knew little of Michiru Fukase besides name, affiliation and typical stomping grounds. Repeated contact had done little to change that, Mai's assumption however that the coldly professional mood between them was something more convenient for them both proved to be wrong as the older girl reached out to her. Between their common friendships and interests it was not particularly difficult to find bonding grounds, even if a suggested plan to hang out inadvertently touched old wounds. While they do not know each other terribly well still, their first and second contact has awoken a desire to bridge the gap a little more. | ||

− | * Seiichi Miyamoto | + | * Seiichi Miyamoto - Masque Démasqué - Once a Strega mercenary and even a NWO Masquerade agent, Seiichi Miyamoto is a complicated case. His masked identity was an enemy, and his unmasked self had been working to infiltrate and gather intelligence to use against people, Naomi Suzuno and Mitsuru Kirijo among others. |
− | * Shirou Sekigawa | + | * Shirou Sekigawa - The boy who broke reality - A reckless boy who used to fight for the KDA, Shirou Sekigawa had the unfortunate burden of being seen as the cause of the Mikage-Cho incident, even when the whole thing had been staged and prepared with him being simply the one who provided the spark to light the fire. Ex(?)-boyfriend of Thora Kobayashi, he was just a boy who Mai didn't really know much but fought with on a few occasions, and now that he is a Masquerade agent, she...still fights alongside him, and considers him as either the worst double agent or the best mole the Masquerade has considering all the information he must bring back to them. Maybe. His motivations don't make much sense to her. |
− | * Minamo Takagawa | + | * Minamo Takagawa - False Smile - A cheerful girl from her school that seems far too willing to let herself die at the first opportunity, Minamo is a source of frustration. First for being a better best friend to Itsuka Mizuhara, second for being someone with incredible potential who's far too willing to squander it. Grade-obsessed to a fault, her diligence at going to supplementary lessons and working for the best scores is praise-worthy yet at the same time feels hollow to Mai, who sees no point to work so hard for someone who has such a low attachment on life and the future. |

− | *Naomi Suzuno - | + | *Naomi Suzuno - Dearly loved friend - Someone who found herself stumbling in the Dark Hour during a visit to Port Island and needed a hand to keep things under control. Mai found herself amused at repeating the cycle of passing on the knowledge necessary to survive the supernatural time, along with advice of not doing anything foolish. Yet Naomi's adaptability and sharp mind is what was found most impressive during the events of Mikage-cho. Also speaks with the same style of formality. The bond of trust toward Naomi has deepened over what was expected to be nothing beyond girl talk and tea, but then Mai's never been one for simple girl talk. Trusted contact and friend. Even after assaulting said friend in the basement of Tartarus due to conflicting objectives between SEES and KNOWS, feels no resentment or anger toward her and the reverse felt true as well. She recently allowed Naomi inside her home, although while her parents were out, mixing catching up and matters of greater emotional complexity regarding Mai's own desires and loneliness compared to the terrifyingly strong yet fragile bond she sees Naomi have with her other friends. Naomi currently holds on to her old favored green ribbon. Knew of Mai's true identity and was instrumental in helping her progress to eventually grieve in a healthier manner, witnessed the events in the Abyss of Time. Due to Mai's insecurity, there has been a few bumps in their relationship as she feared Naomi had grown to just 'not need' or want her around anymore since she has 'better' friends, but those had been smoothed out. Attempted to cheer Naomi up after the misunderstanding of Minako and Tatsuya Suou dating, success was moderate.

|
− | * Miwa Saitou - Kind Soul - Older girl from Seven Sisters High, and sudden acquaintance during an expedition into Tartarus organised by Itsuka Mizuhara. They did not get a chance to talk much, but there was a feeling of common ground, of desire to master their inner power. While they are not friends, Miwa earned Mai's trust in battle to be considered a comrade-in-arms. She is also the first person to have ever used healing magic on Mai. Unfortunatly positioned herself between herself and Suzuno, forcing Mai's hand and being on the recieving end of an attack. Made meeting at New Years rather ankward but a conversation later mended bridges somewhat or at least on Mai's end. She holds no particular negative feelings toward Miwa, although she does feel some pity having learned she was dating Kyo Enda and no doubt had to deal with his quirks a fair bit.

| + | * Miwa Saitou - Kind Soul - Older girl from Seven Sisters High, and sudden acquaintance during an expedition into Tartarus organised by Itsuka Mizuhara. She holds no particular negative feelings toward Miwa, although she does feel some pity having learned she was dating Kyo Enda and no doubt had to deal with his quirks a fair bit. Willingly went in the TV World to retrieve her after she dove in after her ex-boyfriend, made up some excuse about how it was for the sake of making certain Kyo Enda did not upset the dimensional balance but in truth she was genuinely worried for the young woman who dared to share her dream with her.

|
* Hitoshi Taniguchi - A Pen-ny for thoughts - Newly moved in SEES recruit of a similar age, Hitoshi Taniguchi is considered alright. She cannot read him in depth but he was neither fool or genius, neither reckless or coward, there was a strange degree of balance to be seen in him. While that doesn't mean they always agree and have had arguments and misunderstandings, ultimatly Mai holds no grudges toward him and finds him a good classmate and decent field asset, even if he nearly ended up becoming a monster snack. Has not crossed her path since the 2nd DVA Incident.

| * Hitoshi Taniguchi - A Pen-ny for thoughts - Newly moved in SEES recruit of a similar age, Hitoshi Taniguchi is considered alright. − | * Dona Kimura - Friend of the Internets - A girl from Sumaru met via information seeking on the Darkside Boards, and then met in person during and after the Second DVA Incident, Dona Kimura is considered to be an interesting girl who has a notable passion for the obscure and the occult. The fact that she is not particularly pretty or attractive made her an easy friend, as Mai felt as an equal with Dona in looks and while their fields of respective knowledge differed, they could talk and trade info pleasantly. She is (apparently) rich, beautiful to a point it's a shock she's not working as a model (or isn't she?), has psychic powers, has no difficulty in social situations and can wrap men around her finger. Her existence triggers jealousy reaction from Mai and her attitude simply pushes on those buttons further. Mai wants to hurt her, and her reasonable side prays they never meet in an area with no witnesses as her darker side may just explode and lash out. Only on one occurance have they met and Mai was too exhausted and hurt to care, plus she was taking a problem off her hands.

| ||

At first glance he seems straightforward, but the more she sees him act the less she is certain of her assessment's accuracy. She has serious doubts about his leadership abilities with a vigilante group he leads in Sumaru, and she cannot read him very well, leading her to think he just dislikes and distrusts her. | + | * Tatsuya Suou - Quiet Boy - Leader of the Shinsengumi, and boy that Mai can't quite read given how quiet he is. Minato Arisato - Fallen King - Ex-Field Commander of SEES and generally a Sempai she can't read. She tried, really. His facial expression and tone use however rivals her own, making Mai wonder if he's a natural or a master of self-control. His refusal to follow instructions have caused a drop in how she saw him, as his opposition was deemed poorly thought and foolish. Currently disliked as she considers he was forgiven too easily given the gravity of his actions, nor did he seem to do anything to deserve forgiveness. Her disdain had simmered back down with time to only mild dislike. After talking with him and getting his version and feelings exchanged with hers, they mostly made up and she's ok with him. Minako Arisato - Upbeat Queen - Twin sister of Minato, and strange acquaintance made in Mikage-cho. Due to meeting at a time of emotional distress, being helpful in a selfless sense, cheerful and a non-Persona user at the time, Mai opened up a little and found someone who would listen and be with her when she needed to not be alone. It left her wanting to return the favor and get to know the revealed sister a little more too. Her energetic and lively behavior is pleasant to be around of. While they spend unfortunatly little time together due to very few common interests and grounds, Mai still loves her and wishes she could have the time and ability to be a better friend rather than the bearer of unpleasant news. |
