Cutscene: Business Call

"Good to talk to you again. Are they on their way yet?"

"Yes, Sir. You'll find that your local observers can corroborate my reports."

"You have everything I've been giving you. What more confirmation do you need, Sir?"

"The JSDF seems incapable of resolving the situation. You did read the report from your operatives, right? If this continues much longer a possible nuclear war might be the last thing we have to worry about."

"Yes, I realize that, Sir, but we're going to need to make a move soon. Look at what they did to Wells, and he was on /their/ side. None of them want to put an end to this, it's just a question of how far they're willing to go to protect it."

"Maybe so, Sir. But this is the opportunity to put an end to it once and for all. Nothing else is going to get through that thing."

"The decision is yours, Mister President, but I believe I have given you all of the necessary information to make that choice."

As he hung up, the Ambassador smiled.
