Profile
A third-year a Seven Sisters High, Tohya Kidzuki is not widely known as a 'nice person'. In fact, she has a reputation for being downright cold-mannered to most, the few words she's inclined to say to most of her classmates being short and sometimes harshly direct. That said, there's a little talk running around about a 'change' that's come over her; after two years of bad attendance, worse grades, and fairly delinquent behavior, she's started attending more often. The tall senior has even brought her scores on exams up into the 'high' range--not to mention her after-school activities, for which she's known as the 'Terror of the Shogi Club' for her significant ability and intimidating manner. There are snippets of something that gives lie to the rumors, however, in the gentler way she interacts with a close group of her fellow students (and often seems ready to help out the younger ones), and in her apparent success with SEBEC's KNOWS youth outreach program. It seems that at the last minute, she's actually started to care about her future after all.

Notable Social Links
- 0 - The Fool
- Tohru Adachi: A detective working as police liason to the KNOWS program. While originally she was ambivalent, a thieving incident in Inaba caused her to start looking up to him. He seems like a pretty alright person.
- Souji Seta: A boy with a weird resonance, who later she's found is an enemy of Kandori. She thinks he's misguided, but maybe not all that terrible.
- I - The Magician
- Yosuke Hanamura: They first met when he was being a super spy disguised as a man named 'Daigan' and snooping around the KNOWS complex. Since then, she's gotten to know him at least a little better. Her opinion varies; their time together in Fort Junes is a mark in his favor, but she doesn't always approve of the things he chooses to do. She tends to call him out when this is the case, and currently considers him an opponent but not an enemy.
- IV - The Emperor
- Kyo Enda: A fellow senior at Seven Sisters High. He's basically the worst person in the world. Tohya dislikes him, and he terrifies her. He's dating Miwa. Tohya isn't very happy about this.
- Akatsuki Enda: A senior at Gekkoukan High. Kyo's twin. He is definitely the good twin, and despite herself, Tohya actually thinks he's a pretty good guy. A Persona-user, but with a very different resonance, compared to his brother. Tohya has never once mixed them up. They talk often; Tohya considers him to be a close friend, though their relationship is at times complicated. She looks out for him.
- III - The High Priestess
- Yukiko Amagi - A second-year at Yasogami High, and heir to the Amagi Inn. Tohya likes her, and has been inspired by meeting her to pay more attention to the local businesses and people of Inaba.
- VI - The Lovers
- Hiraku Jounouchi - A first-year at Seven Sisters High. An inquisitive boy who is entirely too excited about life for his own good. Once made the suggestion that she should start dating Suou, and insists on calling her a 'hero' just because she put out a fire. He gets on Tohya's nerves. A Persona-user.
- VIII - Justice
- Arisa Shiratori: A first-year at St. Hermelin High. Tohya has run into her more than once, and almost always with something to do with Kandori or KNOWS. She likes the younger girl, and has tried to adopt a position as a bit of a mentor to her. A Persona-user--and possibly someone with detection abilities like Tohya's.
- XIV - Temperance
- Miwa Saitou: A classmate at Seven Sisters High, Tohya didn't speak with her much before an incident involving a burning tree in the courtyard. She's basically wonderful, but she's entirely too polite, and she's rushing headlong into trouble with Kyo. Tohya isn't sure she'll ever listen as regards her choice of boyfriend, but she's made a promise to protect Miwa anyway. ...To her mild distress, though, it seems that Miwa doesn't like her being so rude all the time. A very close friend, and someone Tohya understands much better than she used to. For the record, she accepts the secrets she's seen.
- Naomi Suzuno: A second-year at Seven Sisters High. Fashionable and thoughtful, Naomi is someone with a great deal beneath her exterior. Tohya has come to know her and really rely on her, and she considers the heiress to be her best friend. Tohya trusts her completely, and there's little she isn't willing to share with her.
- XVI - The Tower
- Takahisa Kandori: CEO of SEBEC, and Tohya's boss. At first, she was put off by him, but after getting to know him a little better, she's come to largely trust and actually kind of like him, understanding his insomnia and appreciating his love of cooking. She thinks he's wise, if kind of dangerous. She respects him, however, even understanding that they won't always agree. He's been an important figure to her.
- XVII - The Star
- Hideo Aratami: A first year at Seven Sisters. Gives Tohya a headache whenever he actually shows up to school, and once called her a delinquent to her face. She doesn't really like him. Shadow-possessed.
- XIX - The Sun
- Tatsuya Suou: A fellow senior at Seven Sisters. Her opinion on him has changed quite a bit since they first met. She respects and trusts him, based on what she's seen, and is starting to think she might understand him at least a little. She plans to try to get to know him better, for a few reasons. In any case, he's someone who can be relied on, and someone she shares some interests with when it comes to what to /do/ with the power of Persona. 'No easy way'.

Resonance and Other Talents
Persephone's resonance is oppressively silent, and cold. Those especially sensitive to resonance will feel more: It calls to mind a feeling of being trapped deep underground, with no hope of escape. As a consequence, she's very noticeable to those who are skilled enough to detect the resonances of others. However, her strength of resonance goes both ways: Tohya's primary Persona power is detection. As such, she has a finely tuned 'sixth sense', noticing immediately the presence of all but very subtle Persona-users. She experiences this as a distinct 'feeling' of its own, bringing to mind location and a sort of an essential presence, rather than through any of her mundane senses. As a 'spotter', she can sense more than just other Personas, however: Shadows and even regular people are within her power to detect, but even stronger is her sense of direction. With Persephone's abilities, it is almost impossible for Tohya to lose her way, even in the darkest of places.
This means that she senses most Persona-users she meets as a matter of course, and she actually can't turn this power 'off'--though if she's too distracted, or there are too many things to sense at once, she'll miss things. Or people.
