- Best of You By The Foo Fighters
- "Where you born to resist or be abused?"
- Shirou's call to action song. No more a scared boy running and hiding, it's the song the represents both his hidden hot-bloodedness and his new desire to fight and protect those that are important to him.
- Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood By The Animals
- "I'm just a soul who's intentions are good. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood."
- Being part of a misunderstood arcana and equally understood himself, Shirou has voiced some opinions and has come up with some plans that are... less then well liked. But his heart is /usually/ in the right place; but there is that expression about Hell and good intentions.
- Don't Pay the Ferryman by Chris De Burgh
- "Beware that hooded old man at the rudder."
- As stated before, Shirou does some rather questionable things when the chips are down. While he's never been forced to take excessive violence to a human opponent, Shirou has realized that in himself there is Death, and the power to end a life is well within his powers.
- Dreaming of You by The Corals
- "Up in my lonely room, I'm still dreaming of you. Oh what can I do? I still need you, but I don't want you know"
- A song for those that he became friends with and then seemed to have slipped on by. Kenji, Mae, those who touched his life will be remembered fondly.
- Estasi Dell Anima by David Sardy
- (instrumental only)
- Another battle theme, usually the 'desperate battle' one. Taken after squaring off against Kandori solo. Because sometimes, everybody lives.
- Four Color Love Story by The Metasciences
- "Forget this life, forget this Universe; you're everything I need. You are my life, you are my Universe; they'll have to go through me."
- Shirou's song for Thora, betraying his intense protective streak for her. While he's not a superhero (yet), he'd do anything to keep her safe. Including destroying a small bit of reality.
- Kick Drum Heart by The Avett Brothers
- "It's not the chase that I love, it's me following you."
- Another love song, showing the sweeter side of Thora and Shirou's relationship, specifically the bit right after he realized that he liked her. Just being with her was enough to get his heart to flutter.
- Long Road to Ruin by The Foo Fighters
- "Long Road to Ruin, there in your eyes, under the cold streetlights"
- Not quite a love song, but very emblematic of Thora or any girl that Shirou gets close to. He's got a romantic heart, and will try to prove himself to her, even past the point of being unhealthy.
- The Stone by The Dave Mathews Band
- "I was just wondering if you'd come along. Hold up my head when my head won't hold on."
- The very first bit of his and Thora's dating, just putting out the feelers to see if it could work at all. A rather melancholy song of course, as he tries to make a connection.
- This is War by 30 Seconds to Mars
- "It's the moment of truth and the moment to lie. The moment to live and the moment to die. The moment to fight, the moment to fight, to fight, to fight, to fight"
- Another pump-you-up-song, this is Shirou's manifesto. This game that he's found himself in, waged silently in the alleys and TVs and Dark Hours... he plays to win. He'll protect those he can, and fight those he must, but sometimes the worse happens... but those tragedies just pave the way for new victories.
