Masahiko Irie/Profile
A man without a known father, Masahiko's mother gave him up to his grandfather shortly after he was born. Despite his grandfather being a saiko-komon for the Yamaguchi-gumi, the grandson lived a rather uneventful life until he was 15. Both the grandson and grandfather became involved in a messy shootout involving Japanese and Chinese mafia. When all was said and done, the grandfather went to jail for killing three men while Masahiko himself went to the United States for a year. When he returned and moved to Sumaru, the young man was willing to live his life as it once was, but such dreams are not meant to be. As a whole, 'Masa' tends to be calm and relaxed. Like so many that are morally minded and big on traditional values, he is quick to defend those in need and tends to be respectable to a fault. A young man of few words, the respectful student seems content to be out of the limelight, only coming to the forefront when he feels it is necessary. Despite his life of privilege and possible connections, he rarely abuses his power, seemingly content to life a 'normal' life.
